Zhenyuan Qianjiazhai Yehao: Craftsmanship Refinement and Terroir Excellence in Sun-Dried Tea

The National Pu-erh Tea Quality Inspection Center convened an expert sensory appraisal in Zhenyuan County to evaluate the celebrated ‘Yehao’ series of Qianjiazhai sun-dried green teas (Maocha). Senior tea sensory masters and research professors assessed samples based on liquor luminosity, aroma persistence, taste complexity, and infused leaf elasticity.

Hailing from the mist-covered elevations of Mount Ailao, Qianjiazhai is globally famed for its ancient forest ecology. The evaluation highlighted significant advancements in primary processing: gentle solar withering, disciplined wok temperatures, and uniform sun-drying that preserve vibrant floral aromatics and clean mineral sweetness.

Continual refinement of primary processing techniques ensures that Qianjiazhai’s extraordinary wild forest terroir is expressed with immaculate clarity in the cup.
