Wuhan, Hubei<\/p>\n
On September 10, the East Lake Shan Art Museum in Wuhan, Hubei, held the “Moon over East Lake” Mid-Autumn gathering. Visitors dressed in Song-dynasty attire experienced Song-style whisked tea (diancha), feeling the endless charm of tea culture.
Fuzhou, Fujian<\/p>\n
On September 10, the “Song Style, Tea Charm” Minjiang River night-cruise Mid-Autumn diancha experience was held aboard a cruise ship in Fuzhou, Fujian. Visitors cruised the Minjiang River at night beneath the full Mid-Autumn moon. On stage, tea artists demonstrated the art of diancha, while visitors below picked up the tea whisks before them and whisked tea in their own bowls.
Changsha, Hunan<\/p>\n
On September 8, the “Celebrate Mid-Autumn with the Kangaroos” themed event was held at Window of the World in Changsha, Hunan. At the event, long-spout-pot tea artists performed for visitors, staging a diancha show in the same style as the hit drama A Dream of Splendor.
Beijing<\/p>\n
On September 10, the Beijing Ceramic Art Museum held a Mid-Autumn chabaixi (tea-painting) activity. The event drew many children to visit and take part. Under their teachers’ guidance, the children painted chabaixi patterns.
Jiande, Zhejiang<\/p>\n
On September 9, the ancient town of Shouchang in Jiande, Zhejiang, held a “Song Charm Mid-Autumn” garden fair. Residents and visitors dressed in hanfu and carrying flower lanterns watched and experienced tea art, as if they were in a bustling Song-dynasty market street, joyfully sharing the beautiful time of Mid-Autumn reunion.
